A classical-meets-jazz concert featuring North East soprano Ruth Jenkins, violinist Elaine Binney and pianist Mark Deeks will be taking place at Newcastle Unitarian Church, Ellison Place on August 22, at 7pm. Being held in aid of the Newcastle Society for Blind People, tickets are £6 on the door, or available in advance from (0191) 232-7292.
