Ukulele festival hits right note
The ukulele could be a recession mood-buster according to Newcastle music festival director Craig J Wilson. The organiser of the Ukelear Meltdown event at The Star and Shadow Cinema, said the instrument provides "light relief" and it is "hard to be unhappy when you hear or play a ukulele".
