Police press conference on Hayley
A police chief has apologised after an officer was convicted of causing the death of Hayley Adamson in a fatal crash. Acting Assistant Chief Constable Jim Campbell also revealed Northumbria Police have looked at their driver training since the incident, and said PC John Dougal was not following instructions when he collided with the tragic schoolgirl.
