CRICKET ace Liam Plunkett has been banned from driving for 40 months after admitting a drink-drive charge.The 27-year-old, who plays for Durham, was also handed a £1,000 fine after he admitted being twice the legal limit when he was stopped by police in the early hours of July 29.Officers arrested the fast bowler after pulling over his car on the A690 near the Leazes Bowl roundabout in Durham city.Magistrates were told it was his second drink-drive offence in the last five years.
