THE EXHIBITION of Haydon Bridge artist John Martin’s famous works, at Newcastle’s Laing Art Gallery, will have support from his home village. For organisers of the John Martin Heritage Festival have organised a bus to take villagers to the city on tomorrow corrand on May 7. The bus will depart from the library at 10am and leave the Laing at 2pm. Tickets are available from Claire’s or the library.Read
