Businesses honoured by Think North East First campaign

A ROLL of honour has been set up on The Journal’s website for businesses supporting the Think North East First campaign
Companies can show just how committed they are to the Journal-led effort to help the region through the recession.
By following a link on The Journal’s website, businesses can tell us what local produce they use and add their name to the list of campaign supporters.
Brian Aitken, editor of The Journal, said: “We want to encourage businesses to come forward and add their names to our roll of honour.
“We’ve already seen a fantastic response to our Think North East First campaign and we want to give businesses the opportunity to show what they are doing to help the region’s economy.
“There are so many opportunities to follow through on the Think North East First message and through this roll of honour we can see just how important this campaign is to people.”
One business happy to add their name to the list was The Old School bed and breakfast in Newton on The Moor, north of Morpeth.
