TYNE and Wear is packed full of events and activities for the adventure-hungry to get their teeth into this summer.
In the shadow of ancient Tynemouth Priory world class surfers will descend on October 24-25 to take up the challenge of Xperience 09.

Tyne and Wear is home to a maze of scenic cycle routes including the Two Rivers Cycleway between Sunderland and South Shields.
