Fraizer Campbell unsettled by defeat at Spurs

Campbell’s first-team opportunities have been limited because of the encouraging partnership between Darren Bent and Jones, although his ability to play on the right wing has given him another string to his bow.
It is not his favoured position, but it is a role he knows he may have to play again as a result of the competition for places up front at the Stadium of Light.
It is also a formation manager Steve Bruce could adopt again against Arsenal when the league season resumes next week.
Campbell added: “Sometimes, you have to play for the team and that’s really what I was trying to do at Spurs.
“I was playing wide on the right and I tried to support the midfield and defence as much as possible.
“That’s a job I think I’m capable of doing, but it would obviously be nice to be playing up front in the Arsenal game.
“I’d like to be up there partnering Darren, but if the manager decides he wants me to play on the right of midfield again, that will obviously be okay.
“It was hard to really show what I could do because I was covering a lot of ground and defending.
“Hopefully, in the next game, I’ll be able to show what I can do in attack.”
