IN-FORM Newcastle United U.18s recorded their fourth win on the spin with a 3-2 FA Premier Academy League win at Barnsley.
United had to come from behind as Barnsley drew first blood when the visitors were caught on the break in the 15th minute, the two sides having started the game level on points in the table.
The first half was scrappy but the Magpies turned the tables in the second period.
Ben Sayer celebrated his birthday with a 25 yard strike that pulled United level.
Further pressure saw Steven Logan head home from close range.
Michael Richardson then fired into the top corner before Barnsley grabbed a late consolation.
