NEWCASTLE United didn't get the win they were hoping for when they lost 2-1 to Norwich City.
It was the Magpies' first pre-season friendly defeat, with Shola Ameobi hitting the United goal.
Chris Martin bagged both goals for Norwich as the Championship side ran out winners.
