From the first moment you drive onto the park you'll know that you've arrived somewhere very special indeed. Situated just 30 minutes from Newcastle, 10 minutes from the historic town of Alnwick and 15 minutes from Morpeth, Percy Wood is not only one of the most idyllic settings in Northumberland but also one of the most accessible for exploring this beautiful coastline.
From our humble days as a small touring park, Percy Wood has seen an impressive s6.5m investment in roads, street lighting, security, park infrastructure, new entrance and the successful acquisition of the neighbouring golf club. Percy Wood is fast becoming the North East's leading leisure resort.
Located down at our golf club is the restaurant clubhouse and conservatory where a warm welcome awaits you for either a drink, a light snack or even a full Sunday lunch with the family.
If you venture out and about in the local area you can enjoy free swimming which is exclusive to Percy Wood owners at the Willowburn Leisure Centre in Alnwick. Horse riding, cycling, walking, fishing and sailing are also available.
If you take a stroll through our specially created walkway down to the golf club you can enjoy a whole host of owners-only entertainment including quiz nights, owners' party nights, kids activities, curry evenings, cheese and wine parties, owners' breakfast and the traditional Christmas and New Year parties.
Each and every fortnight we also have a superb range of visiting entertainers. The fantastic golfing pro shop, run by PGA professional Peter Ritchie, was opened over a year ago and has gone from strength to strength.
Our club is already the venue for fashion shows, golf clinics, adults and kids' lessons; not to mention an outstanding selection of golf equipment at amazing prices.
As soon as you arrive on the park you will see our impressive owners' centre where Julie, Paul and Steve are on hand with over 15 years' experience in the selling of caravan holiday homes. We are open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm and are also open all over the Bank Holiday weekend.
