The tribunal said if the parties cannot agree on costs then they would decide the figure.
Meanwhile, as United continue to encounter controversy off-the-field, defender Jose Enrique reckons there are "no excuses" for more poor displays on it.
He is demanding improvements when United take on Doncaster on Saturday after admitting the players were "angry" with themselves for not putting Scunthorpe to the sword.
The Spanish left-back said: "If we want to come back to the Premier League then we need to win games. There can be no excuses now.
"We were angry with ourselves in the dressing room after the game, and we do not want a repeat of that this weekend.
"It is easier playing at home, of course, and we must claim a win against Doncaster.
"The gap is starting to become smaller at the top and after Cardiff and Middlesbrough won there is just one point between four teams.
"We have a chance now to claim a win and we are determined to do that.
"We are still in a very good position because of our start to the season, but we must pick things up – starting on Saturday."
