SPORT has been mixed at Chatton Trout Fishery this week with mainly dry flies working on the surface, although lures also worked well in the deeper water.
Anglers who found fish were Robbie Bell from Berwick, Gregg Johnson from Ashington and P Forster from Newcastle who each caught 12.
David McKenna from Stanley caught 11, Doug Carr from Walbottle and Colin Harris from Whickham both caught 10, D Purves from Newcastle, fishing his loyalty card, kept three and returned seven and Bill Potter from Morpeth caught nine.
South Linden has fished well this past week with G Maddison of Bedlington catching and releasing seven and five rainbows and blues while D Maddison of Bedlington caught four, M Davidson of Amble caught and released six.
