Glendale Show secretary enjoys riding success

THE secretary of Glendale Show is enjoying success as a rider on one of her colleague’s ex-racehorses.

Rachael Smith, who events her own horses, recently won the ROR Ex-Racehorse class at Newton St Boswells riding Ice Flora, who is owned by assistant show secretary Martha McCowan.

But due to Rachael’s commitments on show day itself on August 30, she won’t be able to ride Ice Flora in Glendale’s Ex-Racehorse class.
