Seghill equestrian centre plan rejected

A BID to develop a small equestrian centre in Northumberland has been thrown out by a planning inspector.

An application at Mare Close, Seghill was refused in March.

Dismissing an appeal against the decision, the inspector said the proposed buildings would encroach into the open countryside and harm the rural character and openness of the area.
