A NORTH Northumberland village’s charity quest has raised £3,500 in just two months.
Belford’s Help for Heroes campaign has reached the sum through activities including a round-the-village pub quiz, Denise Morrison quizzing the Blue Bell Hotel’s coach parties and 20 villagers walking from Alnmouth to Seahouses along the coast in torrential, monsoon-like rain.
