A NEW course to help volunteers train the next generation of golfers is being held in Northumberland.

The two-day course will give anyone taking part an ASQ PGA level one qualification, which will allow them to assist more qualified coaches in delivering golf coaching sessions for beginners.

The course is at Linden Hall, near Morpeth, on September 24 and 25 and costs £288.

A home study workbook is provided ahead of the course, which takes five weeks to complete.
