PUBLIC-spirited slimmers have donated over 100 boxes of forbidden chocolates to assist a hospice charity.

Hexham, Prudhoe and Crawcrook Slimming World groups decided to donate the chocs to Tynedale Hospice at Home’s fundraising tombola.

Sarah Hollows of the Hexham group said the members had an “amnesty” on “unhelpful” gifts.
