DOUBLE yellow lines are likely to be placed on a school approach road at Ponteland.

Next week, Northumberland County Council’s planning and environment committee will be urged to agree to the lines at Thornhill Road, near Ponteland First and Middle Schools. The move follows concerns over term-time parking.
