INFORMATION about new bin collection arrangements in Northumberland will be explained to householders in a special roadshow which starts touring the county today. The changes, which affect people in the north and west of the county, come into force from Monday, September 12 and will mean different collection days for some, and amended collection times for others.

All affected homes will receive a leaflet during the two-week period starting on Monday, August 15 explaining the new routes and times. In addition, the county council roadshow will be visiting many towns and villages to give out information and answer questions.
