GOOD causes are set to benefit from equipment seized by council chiefs.
Northumberland County Council’s public protection service is giving away 12 pieces of audio-visual equipment seized in a series of raids across the county.
Coun Anita Romer, the council’s executive member for health and public protection, said the equipment is worth thousands of pounds.
She said: “Excessive noise has the potential to cause major disturbance to residents.
“We will always seek to take action where people refuse to heed the warnings.
“I’m very pleased this seized equipment will now be going to help local good causes.”
