Pupils learn lessons in angling on River Wansbeck

WANSBECK Angling Association kicked off National Fishing Month in the North East with an introduction to fishing day in Morpeth for pupils from Cleaswell Hill School, Guide Post.

Split over morning and afternoon sessions some pupils were given instruction on fly casting while others tried out bait fishing in the River Wansbeck.

There will be a second introduction day on Tuesday (July 19) for 20 more pupils.
