THE 200th birthday of one of Britain’s greatest novelists, Charles Dickens, will be marked with a team quiz at Morpeth Library on February 7.

Staff from the Morpeth branch of Waterstone’s bookstore will take on competitors in a quiz on Dickens’ life and works.

First prize will be donated by Waterstone’s and entry is £1 per person, to include refreshments.
