ARMISTICE Day will be marked by a civic Remembrance Service, involving county council staff, councillors and ex-servicemen, at County Hall in Morpeth on Friday, November 11.
War veterans and representatives of the RAF, Royal British Legion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and RAF Boulmer will be at the service, which the public are welcome to attend.
A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am to mark the date and time of the end of the First World War in 1918. Wreaths of poppies will be laid at the war memorial.
