NEW Fordley’s new signing Lee Isbister had an instant impact as he hit a late winner in a 3-2 verdict over Hexham in Division Two of the Northern Alliance.

Andrew Waugh shot New Fordley ahead in the seventh minute, but Scott Robson then equalised in the 39th minute.

Robson gave Hexham the advantage three minutes after the interval, but Isbister levelled in the 74th minute and hit the winner with just three minutes of the match to go.
