DISABLED Hexham pensioner Tom Frost has launched a petition to get bus company Go North East to reinstate a hospital service.
Go North East has ended front door drop-offs at the town’s main hospital entrance, leaving people with a 200-yard walk from Corbridge Road.
The company said only an average of nine passengers a day were using the hospital stop but Tom says the decision has added to people’s difficulties and has posted his petition in a number of shops in the town.
