THE U Northumberland, the volunteers’ university, will hold courses on first aid and defusing conflict next week.

The first aid course will take place at Hexham Community Centre on Saturday February 11 from 10am to 11.30am.

And defusing conflict – described as learning key skills to keep yourself safe – is at the Community Centre on Thursday February 16 (7pm-8.30pm).
