A UK charity has been cooking on gas at Walltown Quarry to thank its North East volunteers.

The National Trust joined Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Limited and Northumberland National Park Authority to commemorate Volunteers’ Week.

The volunteers were treated to a barbecue and guided walks.
