POLICE have formally identified a woman found dead after a house blaze at Haltwhistle on March 30.
The body of Ann Mulgrove, 55, was discovered in the bungalow at Meadow Grange after rescuers plucked two pet dogs to safety.
Mrs Mulgrove’s husband Keith, 51, is a former Newcastle United defender who played once for the first team in 1978.
