A STOLEN stamp and coin collection has been returned to its owner after police officers arrested a suspected thief.
The items were taken from a house in Church Wood, Cramlington, during a break-in on Tuesday night.
Northumbria Police officers carried out enquiries and arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with the burglary. He remained in custody yesterday.
The stamps and coins were recovered and returned to their owner by officers investigating the case.
