THERE is a taste of Eastern European gypsy music ahead for Northumberland. For the New Budapest Cafe Orchestra folk group, inspired by the music of European gypsies, are in Corbridge and Wark in October. The group, with four exponents of violin, guitar, accordion, double bass, saz and balalaika, will play a programme of Hungarian czardas and Russian and Ukrainian folk songs at Corbridge Parish Hall (Oct 27) and Wark Town Hall & Mechanics Institute (Oct 28).Read
