A SHELTERED housing complex in Bellingham is to be demolished.

The Sheiling sheltered housing scheme in the village is finally to be demolished as only three tenants still live at the 15-flat complex and operators Milecastle say the flats have become difficult to let in recent years.

Existing residents will be given the opportunity to find alternative accommodation before closure.
