NEW traffic management plans have been drawn up for the remote village of Kielder in response to a recent increase in the number of tourists visiting the area.

The main objectives are to get rid of outdated and unnecessary brown and white tourist signs and replace them with new ones. In addition, No Through Road and Residents Only Parking areas will be created to tackle problems caused by additional vehicles using residential streets.
