FORMER Olympic star Steve Cram is set to share his expertise in a series of special fitness camps.

The ace, known as the Jarrow Arrow, will be putting runners through their paces in a challenging new project.

One-time world champion Steve has launched his own training camps to offer budding athletes a chance to train alongside him.

The weekend breaks will be held in some of the most scenic locations across the North East. They will include a package of coaching, graded training sessions, professional sports kit, medicine and nutrition guidance and advice from international athletes.

The first camp will run from March 11-13, at the Kielder Water and Forest Park in Northumberland.

The second is scheduled for March 25-27 at the award-winning Sandy Balls Holiday Centre, in the New Forest.
