Teenager held on Cramlington break-ins

A TEENAGER has been arrested and charged following break-ins at two homes in Northumberland.
The 17-year-old was appeared before magistrates in Bedlington yesterday charged with two counts of burglary.
He was arrested after two break-ins on Saturday in Cramlington.
The first was at a house in Oakley Drive when cash and a laptop computer were taken, and the second was at a property in Broomylinn Place, where cash was stolen.
Northumbria Police have urged householders to keep their windows and doors locked, both overnight and when leaving their homes unattended, to avoid becoming the victim of opportunistic burglars.
