A YOUTH project in Northumberland has received a funding boost.

Northumberland County Council has given a grant of £5,000 from its Community Chest Fund to The Amble Youth Project, a registered charity that operates in the town.

The money for staffing costs will allow the project to continue operating Friday evening sessions for town teenagers.
