A HOTEL is diversifying to offer a service with a difference.

Warkworth House Hotel is now offering a takeaway service after staff were left disappointed when they couldn’t find a local fast food outlet.

Head chef Andrew Short said: “The idea came from our own need more than anything else.

“We were looking for somewhere in the village to order a takeaway one evening and couldn’t. It just seemed like the logical solution."

They hope to develop this new line of business over the coming months.
