Diesel stolen from Coquet Enterprise Park

DIESEL worth £205 was siphoned from vehicles at a yard in Coquet Enterprise Park, Amble.

The thieves are believed to have climbed over the fence at around 1am last Saturday, before draining the fuel tanks of parked wagons.

Insp Sue Peart said: “I can see this kind of crime becoming more common because of the ongoing economic climate.”
