TWO young shotokan karate students gained their first dan black belts at Alnwick Leisure Centre.
Fourteen-year-olds Jacob Wood and Freddie Bond have trained with Ashington Karate club for the last six years under the guidance of fifth dan sensies Jill Kelly, Keith Burns and Trish Bruce.
