Dunstanburgh Golf Club to host Ali Johnson event

DUNSTANBURGH Castle Golf Club on the rugged Northumberland coast at Embleton will be the venue for an Ali Johnson Memorial Golf event on Friday, October 8, 2010.

Ali Johnson, who died in 2008, was paralysed after sustaining a broken neck playing rugby union for Tynedale RFC in 2004. Proceeds will help build a holiday home at the family farm at Coanwood, Haltwhistle for disabled people.

The team cost for October 8, which includes 18 holes of golf, an evening meal and prizes is £160.
