AS the host of The Journal's Taste event on September 25 and 26, Metrocentre will be linking up with Metro Radio to promote the event with a “Come Dine with Brian” experience.

Shoppers will be encouraged to register via Metro Radio to be in with a chance of winning a meal on either September 21 at Zizzi's or September 23 at Spur Steak.

Zizzi's specialises in delicious Italian dishes from pizza, pasta and risotto to indulgent desserts, while Spur Steak offers everything from a range of steaks, mouth-watering burgers, and spicy Mexican meals to fresh salads, and their children's menu provides many healthy options.

Metro Radio will choose 50 people for each experience and announce the winners on air.

Even though there are still 16 shopping weeks left, Metrocentre has a host of events ready to start the festive season with a bang. On November 15, Christmas late night shopping begins. There is also a full calendar of events lined up in December, from carol singing to nativity plays performed by local groups and charities. The friendly Metrognomes will also be performing their Christmas pantomime from December 20, 2010, until January 2, 2011.
