Healthy start to the New Year

NEW YOU:

FOR those counting the calories after the festive excesses, M&S has launched a new range of healthy meals.

The Simply Fuller Longer range has a higher protein content to help control hunger, which should in theory stop you reaching for the biscuit tin.

The new range, available from January 4, includes a selection of ready-prepared meals, sandwiches and salads, such as Chargrilled Chicken & Vegetable Noodles with Savoury Miso Dressing (£3.79) and Peppered Salmon, King Prawn & Cous Cous Salad (£4.29).

M&S is also launching a new health website to support the range, where customers can assess their lifestyle and diet. The website can be found at www.marksandspencer.com/health

HEALTHY START:

ALSO helping to keep kids (and adults) full for longer is a new Quaker Oats porridge aimed at children. Paw Ridge, the new “no lump, no nasties” children’s porridge makes a wholesome start to the day.

Paw Ridge oats are milled extra finely to create a smoother porridge, and the cereal contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Kids also get the opportunity to discover five new characters who reside in the animated world of Paw Ridge.

Paw Ridge comes in original and honey flavours and costs £1.99 rrp, available in all supermarkets.
