THIS month we've been catching up with the irrepressible - and wonderfully outspoken - food writer and TV chef Clarissa Dickson Wright.

Clarissa has her fingers in lots of pies at the moment, among them rabbit pie!
With her TV appearances, including a recent episode of the Great British Food Revival, where she was extolling the virtues of eating wild rabbit, and a new book out, Clarissa’s England, described as a gamely gallop through the English counties, Clarissa remains a staunch campaigner on countryside issues.
Elsewhere, we take a tour of Morritt country house hotel owner Barbara Johnson’s kitchen, while artist Charlie Evans takes a gallop to the Bay Horse at Stamfordham.
Wine expert Helen Savage has ports to warm the cockles of your heart while we have ideas to turn up the culinary heat on Bonfire Night.
Enjoy – and see you next month.
