'It's great, especially for the kids'
CATCHING the first glimpse inside the new library was 11-year-old Rosie Walton and her father Kris, 68.
Rosie, of Cochrane Park, in Newcastle, said: "It’s great. I love reading. My favourite book is Megastar Mysteries. I’m going to join today." Her father said: "She loves to sit in the children’s section and read all of the books, so it’s fantastic. I’ve been waiting for the library to reopen for the past couple of years.
"It seems to have everything in it, especially for the kids.
"And I’m a bookworm too so it’s great to have it open again."
