A WOMAN has been charged with the murder of mum Tina Casey after her body was found inside a house with stab wounds.
The body of Ms Casey, 42, of Wallridge Drive, Holywell, was discovered by police at her home at noon on Monday.
Heather Emmonds, 57, of Seaton Delaval, will appear before South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court today (Friday Feb 8) after being charged with murder by Northumbria Police.
A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday has been bailed.A post mortem was conducted on Tuesday and the cause of death established to be stab wounds.
This week tributes poured in for the mum of a young son from her colleagues at Proctor and Gamble’s Seaton Delaval site in Northumberland where she had worked for a number of years.
She is believed to have lived at the house with her son for around three years.
