Pippa Middleton spotted at Alnwick remembrance service

Pippa Middleton

RUMOURS are rife in a Northumberland town that the Duke of Northumberland’s son has rekindled his romance with the sister of Kate Middleton.

Pippa Middleton, who shot to national attention after the wedding of her sister Kate to Prince William earlier this year, was seen with the Duke’s son, Earl George Percy, in Alnwick on Sunday.

The pair were at a Remembrance Sunday afternoon service at the town’s St Paul’s church.

They were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, and Dowager Duchess of Northumberland, Duchess Elizabeth.

A Journal source at the service reported the group filling the front row of the Roman Catholic church.

Earl George was a row back, behind Pippa, famed for the dress she wore at the royal wedding.

The source said: “It caused a bit of a stir in the church.”

The Rev David Archer, who was leading the service and is vicar at the town’s Baptist Church, last night told The Journal he had been unaware of her presence.

“I had noticed an attractive lady in the front row, I did not realise it was her.

“She did look like Pippa Middleton.”
