Ride Aid charity motorbikers return home after 1,700 mile trip

They rode up to John O’Groats, had a stop over in Perth, then headed down the west coast to Land’s End, before heading home. The RVI is looking to raise cash to pay for a Scinti scanner, which costs up to £25,000. The machine will minimise the extent of surgery required by patients.

Consultant Andy Griffiths said: “The Scinti scanning equipment is an extremely important facility that benefits a large number of women with breast cancer, as it minimises the extent of surgery our patients need.”
