Hundreds turn out for heart-throb Peter Andre

AUSSIE heart-throb Peter Andre made a trip to North East – much to the delight of hundreds of fans.

The former reality TV star could yesterday be found in the aisles of the Asda supermarket, in Gateshead, promoting his new album, Revelation, and signing autographs.

More than 800 people headed to the store, with some devoted fans queuing in the dark from 6am, wearing T-shirts with messages including "I love You Peter".

But the pop sensation, not usually known to hold back from saying what he thinks, refused to speak to The Journal about what he thought of his trip to Tyneside.

The 36-year-old’s album blared out over loudspeakers outside the store, while fans danced and cheered.

Peter, who sang the hit single Mysterious Girl, is most famous for his marriage and split with glamour model Katie Price, formerly Jordan, who he met while the pair appeared on reality TV series I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
