YOUNG readers can take part in an event to coincide with the release of the latest Harry Potter film.
The world’s most famous boy wizard takes to the big screen again next week, and the Seven Stories centre for children’s books, in Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle, is holding a spellbinding celebration to kick start its summer events programme.
Seven Stories young Muggles are invited to take part in a range of activities and events this weekend.
Youngsters can head to Seven Stories to catch up on the last Harry Potter film, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, just ahead of the release of the sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The Seven Stories Attic will be transformed into the Gryffindor common room for a screening experience like no other, on July 11 and 12.
Seven Stories events officer Paul Black, said: “Harry Potter is the biggest thing to hit children’s publishing, and as a national museum for children’s books, where better to celebrate the new film?
“Our attic has been given a Gryffindor makeover, and we can’t wait to welcome young witches and wizards to get into character and enjoy the fun.”
