SINGING sensation Beyonce has announced her second Newcastle gig of the year.
The chart star, who wowed a sold-out Metro Radio Arena just two weeks ago, will perform there again on November 19, with tickets on general sale tomorrow.
Her I Am... Tour has been a massive success across Europe and has been acclaimed as one of the best yet at the Arena in its 14-year history. “Yeah, it’s a huge production and I’m very proud of the show.
“I think this show is a lot more theatrical and a lot more emotional because of the album and because of the collaboration with the designer Thierry Mugler,” Beyonce said last month.
“The truth is, the title of the album says it all – I Am Sasha Fierce.
“That alter ego has always come out when I’m on stage, but I do reveal more of myself actually. And I do kind of play on Sasha Fierce a little bit, but when I perform it’s the same way it’s always been. My alter ego is always there.”
Since the release of her multi-platinum album I Am… Sasha Fierce, Beyonce has enjoyed a series of new highs.
There was her no1 smash If I Were A Boy, her live performance on X Factor and the YouTube phenomenon of her iconic video for Single Ladies to name just a few. You want flying? She flies. You want jaw-dropping vocal ability?
